The Order of the Obsidian Sun, Daybreak Miniatures’ September 2025 release, brings thirteen turtlefolk characters and two themed scenery pieces to your painting table. Available as licensed physical resin models, individually or as a Complete Set.
Guardians of a buried sun
In the southern jungles of Mundi Maard, the turtlefolk built temples from volcanic glass and devoted themselves to a buried sun-god. Their stone-like shells and obsidian weapons reflect that faith. The Order’s warrior-priests and shieldbearers march as enduring guardians of a fading light.
Volcanic glass, sun symbols, textured shells and decorated armour define this fantasy order. Dark obsidian against warm metallic accents or weathered stone offers a painting approach inspired by the theme.
