Hey everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to give you a proper update on where things are at right now.

First, I owe you an apology. I’m late on both the April and May releases, and I know it’s not ideal. It really wasn’t planned. I ended up being hospitalized for about two weeks, which threw everything off. On top of that, I’ve been pushing really hard to handle sculpting, orders, and finishing the wargame at the same time, and I basically burned myself out a bit.

Things are getting back on track now though, and I’m fully back into it.

The big news, and honestly something I’m really happy about, is that Damocles Wars is now playable. It took a lot of work, especially toward the end, but the core of the game is there. I’m currently integrating the rules directly into the website, and at this point I’d really love for some of you to try it. If you’re printing the miniatures, you can now actually put them on the table and play with them, which feels like a huge step forward for the project.

For April, even if it’s late, you’ll get Mafdet, Nek, and Khesef. For May, it’s Oupouaout with kopesh, Ra, and Sebakhy with spears.

I’m also shifting a few things going forward. The files are now simpler to use, full squads with a sergeant, presupported, ready to print, no assembly. And more importantly, every unit I release from now on is designed to be playable in the wargame. The idea is really to move toward something more complete, where miniatures, lore, and gameplay all connect together.

I’m planning to get back to a steady rhythm of three squads per month, and I’d also like to start adding officers and characters pretty soon, to push both the gameplay and the narrative side a bit further.
There’s also something bigger coming. I’m preparing the next step of the project with a new faction that will be fully playable, and that I plan to release on Kickstarter in the near future. I won’t go into too much detail here yet, but things are moving in that direction.

And finally, just… thank you. Really. For the support, for sticking around even when things are a bit messy, for the messages and encouragement. It helped a lot more than you probably think, especially during the last few weeks.
Now that things are coming together, I’m really motivated to keep pushing forward and build something stronger with you.
